Information About the University Of New York Tirana

University of New York Tirana (UNYT) is the first private university in Albania founded in 2002. It is the only institution in Albania which has a collaboration with State University of New York/ Empire State College – USA by offering a dual degree for Bachelor Programs.  

University of New York Tirana has three faculties:

• Faculty of Law and Social Science
• Faculty of Economics and Business
• Faculty of Engineering and Architecture

UNYT offers two prestigious degrees in the first cycle:

• The American Bachelor’s Degree with a duration of the four-year program are awarded by the State University of New York, Empire State College accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
• The European Bachelor’s Degree with a duration of 3 years’ study program leads to the award of a European Bachelor’s Degree licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth. 

UNYT also offers second and third cycle degrees in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Law, International Relations, Psychology, and Computer Science.

All degrees are in English.
